Triple H has shared an update following the brawl between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens after WWE Bad Blood.
At Bad Blood 2024, Cody Rhodes alongside Roman Reigns defeated the team of Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa. Toward the end of the match, fans also saw the shocking return of Jimmy Uso, and later The Rock.
However, following the match, fans captured a parking lot incident between Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes. The former Universal Champion turned on his friend and launched a devastating attack on him before driving off. The incident took place off-air, as Owens attacked Rhodes by his bus in the parking lot. Nothing official has been spoken on the incident yet.
However, Chief Content Officer, Triple H shared an update on the situation on X (Twitter). He stated:
We are aware of the incident outside of the arena last night between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens. The matter will be dealt with internally.”
Things have been tense between the two friends for some time, and it finally escalated after Bad Blood. Owens has shared a bitter rivalry with The Bloodline for the past two years, and despite his history with the faction, Rhodes decided to team up with Reigns at Bad Blood and Jey Uso earlier.
Fans will now need to wait till SmackDown to hear an update on the situation.
Cody Rhodes Compared His Bad Blood Hometown Appearance With Game Of Thrones
During a recent interview with Billboard, Cody Rhodes compared his Bad Blood appearance in Atlanta, Georgia (his hometown) with the popular television show, Game Of Thrones.
It always feels Game of Thrones-like in a sense. Here’s the belt from formerly the World Wide Wrestling Federation and the Northeast Territory and I was just this Georgia Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, WCW kid. To be able to be the first Rhodes to have it, but also bring it back to where The Omni once stood. I mean, I got goosebumps when they put The Omni in the scene from [SmackDown’s] Georgia Tech [episode] because being able to be on the ground of that building and to have this [belt], was not expected. It’s a homecoming. I’m very much looking forward to it.”
