Triple H To Make Special Appearance On SmackDown

WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H

Triple H is set to make a “special appearance” on SmackDown.

It’s been announced that The Game will be returning to television for the season premiere episode of the blue brand on October 13th. The appearance was confirmed on October 6th, but there was no comment on what it would involve.

Triple H hasn’t appeared on WWE television since the draft back in May.

SmackDown looks to be another loaded show coming just days after WWE sends a number of top stars to NXT on October 10th. The episode will go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite, and as such WWE has called on John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Asuka, and Paul Heyman for the taping.

There’s also been speculation that The Undertaker will also be involved.

Triple H To Be Joined By Roman Reigns

With regard to SmackDown, the show will also see the return to television of Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief has been absent since the August 11th episode of the blue brand after he was attacked by Jey Uso as he quit WWE.

Reigns hasn’t wrestled since retaining his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Jey at SummerSlam. The star is expected to be back in action at Crown Jewel on November 4th, although the identity of his opponent is as yet unknown.

However, it’s been reported that Roman Reigns won’t be facing John Cena.
