Triple H’s first WrestleMania as Chief Content Officer is in the books, but things are far from settled in WWE.
The main event of WrestleMania 39 divided opinions among fans as Roman Reigns continues his record-breaking title reign following his victory over Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, the night before, fans were delighted to see Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeat The Usos, gaining some retribution after being at odds with The Bloodline for months.
However, all eyes are now on the behind-the-scenes operation of the sports entertainment giant following news that the company will merge with Endeavor-owned UFC to create a new $21 billion corporation. Vince McMahon will serve as Executive Chairman of the new venture, while Dana White and Nick Khan will be presidents of UFC and WWE respectively.
While McMahon has confirmed that he will be involved in creative operations going forward, Triple H still retains creative control as Chief Content Officer according to an internal memo sent to WWE employees.
Now, amidst both on- and off-screen drama within the company, Triple H is set to make an announcement on the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw according to a new report from WRKD Wrestling. There is no indication as to whether this announcement will be regarding the company’s merger with UFC or if it will be to further an on-screen story.

Triple H Says “The Story Never Finishes” In WWE
Roman Reigns‘ victory over Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 39 sparked plenty of criticism from fans on social media, with many wondering how WWE could squander goodwill of a well-built opponent once again, pointing to Sami Zayn’s Elimination Chamber loss for comparison.
According to the Chief Content Officer, however, the story will continue, and fans need to wait to see what’s in store.
“What I will say about that is it is always interesting to me when people say ‘How could that happen?’ Or ‘How could they do that in that moment?’ And it’s almost perfectly spelled out in this story, I need to finish the story. In the WWE, the story never finishes. Tomorrow night on Raw at sold out Crypto Arena, the story continues and the story takes another chapter. We just got to the end of a chapter. But the story continues, and that’s where this get interesting to me. So, you know, I think that is what is the most amazing thing about our business, the story never ends.”
