World Wrestling Entertainment’s Chief Content Officer, Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, shared a rare social media post featuring the crew that helped put on a spectacular two-night WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event this past weekend.
The new Netflix special, WWE: Unreal, takes the camera behind the scenes to show how the Stamford-based promotion pulls off its weekly shows and premium live events, and has started gaining traction. Despite the initial negative reactions the docuseries got, especially from industry traditionalists, the special series has allowed more people to understand the amount of hard work, day in and day out, that goes into the shows each week.
On that note, the Chief Content Officer has taken it upon himself to heap praise on his crew for pulling off the first-ever two-night SummerSlam PLE.
Triple H Praises WWE Crew That Helped Make SummerSlam An Unforgettable Show
This year’s SummerSlam had something for everyone. The show featured two stellar main events – an astounding angle on Night 1 and a jaw-dropping return on Night 2, both of which came after two highly satisfying in-ring contests. Meanwhile, even the undercard bouts were well crafted and curated.
On Instagram, Triple H praised the crew behind SummerSlam, stating that each and every individual’s involvement was very crucial, calling them the “engine behind it all.”
Here’s what the WWE Chief Content Officer’s heartfelt note stated:
#SummerSlam doesn’t just happen…It’s built from the ground up by the most dedicated, passionate, and hardest working team in the business.
From lighting rigs and camera shots, to pyro and production trucks – this crew is the engine behind it all.
Thank you to every single member of the @WWE team who made these incredible nights possible.
We don’t just put on a show – we create moments that last a lifetime.”

Just like The Game has said before, WWE does not rest. After a two-night extravaganza last weekend, the company is already building towards its next major event, scheduled for August 31, Clash in Paris.
John Cena is scheduled to be part of the PLE. Now that he has dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, and more importantly, has a new target on his back, it remains to be seen in what capacity the Stamford-based promotion will handle his appearance at the event.
