One of the main features of Triple H’s reign as creative figure head in WWE to date has been the re-signing of a number of stars previously released by the company.
The ball got rolling at SummerSlam with the return of Dakota Kai, and main roster debut of IYO SKY and has continued into recent weeks with the arrival of Tegan Nox on SmackDown. During this period, the likes of Bray Wyatt, Karrion Kross, Scarlett and Hit Row have all made their way back to WWE.
Triple H Unimpressed By Underperforming Talent
However, not every return has been a success. While Bray Wyatt has been greeted as a returning hero and remains a big favourite with fans, others have made much less of an impact. Something it appears that hasn’t gone unnoticed by those at the top of the company.
A new report from Wrestle Votes has suggested that Triple H has been left “severely underwhelmed” by some of the talents he has re-signed.
“I’m told a handful of talent brought back in the “rehiring wave” over the summer have underperformed and severely underwhelmed Triple H & others since returning to the company.”

Triple H took creative control of WWE following the retirement of Vince McMahon. The former Chairman was replaced at board level by Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan who were made co-CEO’s. Triple H became Chief Content Officer as part of the reshuffle, while Shawn Michaels was officially appointed as the head of NXT.
Despite the controversial nature of Vince McMahon’s exit, it has recently been reported that he wishes to return to the company. However, this is said to have little support from management.
