Triple H has refused to rule out NFL star Rob Gronkowski making an appearance at WrestleMania 37.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end, hosted WrestleMania 36 in 2020 and ended up winning the WWE 24/7 Championship.

Speaking to the Pardon My Take podcast, Triple H revealed that an appearance had been discussed, although he wasn’t sure if it was going to happen.

“It’s a possibility. I know it’s been discussed. I’m of the opinion that as the first opportunity with Gronk was happening and we were meeting with him around the Super Bowl, you kind of don’t know what Gronk is going to do until Gronk does what he’s going to do. You can have a lot of conversations but until he actually shows up, I don’t know if it’s going to happen. There have been conversations around that. As always, there’s going to be a lot of celebrity influence,”

Prior to hosting WrestleMania 36, Gronk appeared at WrestleMania 33 in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Elsewhere, WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development recently appeared on a media call where he again outlined that the WWE is “open for business.”

Following the news that AEW star Chris Jericho it set to appear on Broken Skull Sessions, Inside The Ropes’ Gary Cassidy asked Triple H about the company potentially working with other wrestling promotions.

“Yeah. I’m not… I’m not necessarily sure how that correlates but, look, we’re open for business. I’ve said it a million times. Vince has been very adamant in that, right? Open for business, what’s best for business for the WWE and open to working with whoever that is. It’s a funny thing that people sometimes create their own situations in their head, but it’s not shocking to me…”

WrestleMania is always a star-studded affair and the upcoming event promises to be no different. After appearing on WWE television regularly since the Royal Rumble, Bad Bunny will make his in-ring debut teaming with Damian Priest to take on The Miz and John Morrison.
