Triple H Says Omos Is Set To “Shock A Lot Of People” At WrestleMania

Triple H Omos

Triple H has lavished praise on the giant Omos, who is set to make his televised WWE in-ring debut at WrestleMania in a match for the Raw Tag Team Titles.

Speaking on a media call ahead of NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver, Triple H was asked by Metro.co.uk about the 7ft 3″ star.

Triple H noted that fans don’t see all the effort that the giant competitor is putting in behind the scenes:

“It’s funny, people just see what he does on TV, so they see him the one time a week on TV or whatever. They don’t see him in the gym still, at the PC, they don’t see him in the ring at the PC. They don’t see him training every day, still, to be something special. He’s putting in the effort. He just really is one of those hard-working, hard-work-ethic people that is putting in the effort to really be good at this, and I think he will be.”

The COO of WWE continued by saying that Omos soaks up knowledge and is someone that Triple H wants to succeed:

“You’re getting to see that first hand at Mania, that he’s not just the big dude standing there. I think he’s gonna shock a lot of people. He’s really a sponge. When you’re as big as he is and as unique as he is, the spotlight is bright, right? People can’t wait to see what you can do, so you have to be cautious with it.”

“Hopefully, we’re giving him just enough to chew on at each moment in time that it works wonderfully. He’s got a bright future. Just a quality person, a great guy, humble, just loves what he’s doing, couldn’t be happier. He’s one of those success stories – when I see him, it makes me smile. He’s just one of those guys, and you wanna see him succeed.”

At WrestleMania Omos teams with AJ Styles to challenge The New Day for the Raw Tag Team Championships.

WrestleMania airs live on the 10th and 11th of April on Peacock in the US and elsewhere globally on the WWE Network.
