Triple H revealed that AAA TripleMania XXXIII’s success had a 7-time WWE World Champion’s touch all over it.
World Wrestling Entertainment acquired the Mexican wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. The big move was announced during WrestleMania 41 week earlier this year. Using the already established AAA brand, WWE is looking to expand its presence in Mexico and South America.
What stands out as a major shocker, not only to the fans but also to Triple H, is that retired pro wrestling icon The Undertaker was involved in last night’s showcase. A new report stated that ‘Taker will continue contributing to this side of WWE’s market.
Triple H Is Astounded That The Undertaker Played A Key Role In AAA TripleMania XXXIII
On X/Twitter, WWE CCO Triple H highlighted the company’s recent triumphs, and that was the AAA TripleMania XXXIII show, which marked the first of AAA’s biggest show of the year, under the WWE banner.
In the video, The Game shared some backstage scenes; he heaped praise on the two men in the industry he had deep respect for: Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker. He singled out ‘Taker, and was astounded at the contributions the legend had provided to AAA and Mexican wrestling.
If you would have told me 20 years ago that one of the big driving forces behind AAA and Mexico would be The Undertaker, it would have been hard for me to wrap my head around that,” Triple H stated.
Last night was special. Congratulations to @luchalibreaaa and thank you to the fans who made #Triplemania a great event. And that was just day one⦠pic.twitter.com/uoYkSeMuZD

The Undertaker, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels were present backstage for AAA’s first major show under WWE. Aside from these Hall of Famers, Omos and AJ Styles made surprise appearances, with the latter interfering in the main event to stop Dominik Mysterio in his tracks.
The main event was a 4-Way Match, with El Hijo del Vikingo successfully defending the AAA Mega Championship against WWE stars Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and El Grande Americano.
