Triple H has spoken out with nothing but praise for brand new NXT Superstar, Tyler Rust, who made his in-ring debut on December 16.
Following a hard fought bout against Tommaso Ciampa, who he helped Timothy Thatcher to beat down on December 9 during the weekly Thatch-As-Thatch-Can segment, the godfather of NXT took to social media in order to praise his latest signing:
“To hold your own in an @WWENXT ring against @NXTCiampa is no easy task….@TylerRust_WWE had a star-making performance. First of what will be many… #WeAreNXT #WWENXT.”

Currently part of the Timothy Thatcher/Tommaso Ciampa rivalry which ‘The Psycho Killer’ took the lead in with a victory at NXT TakeOver: WarGames on December 6, Rust has been thrown in the deep end and came out with his head above the surface.
Though there are no clear plans for the talent on the black and gold brand just yet, speculation has been swirling that the talent will be aligned with Malcolm Bivens as his manager.
Tyler Rust – real name Russ Taylor – was announced as part of the latest class of recruits to the WWE Performance Center late in November along with former IMPACT Wrestling stars, Desmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz of Rascalz fame who will also likely undergo name changes before their debut.
