Triple H Praises The WWE Return Of “Incredible” Vince McMahon

Triple H & Vince McMahon

While Vince McMahon’s return to WWE has proven divisive to say the least, Chief Content Officer Triple H is happy to have his father-in-law back on board.

McMahon initially retired from WWE in July 2022 but reinstated himself on to the Board of Directors on January 6th. As part of the move, McMahon also reinstated two associates while removing three serving members. This set into a chain of events that saw two other Board members quit, and Stephanie McMahon also leave the company.

Speaking on WWE’s Q4 Earnings call on February 2nd, Triple H was full of praise for McMahon, describing him as a “tremendous asset to the company.”

“I want to reiterate just how excited I am and how much fun I am having in my role as chief content officer. I also want to add that having Vince around has been great. I will tell you this: it has allowed me, and allow me to speak for our entire creative team, but we’re standing on the shoulders of giants.

So having him back and involved, even at just the Board level, comes with his incredible insight. He is a tremendous asset to this company. This is the best time of the year. We’ve kicked off the road to WrestleMania. It’s an amazing moment for WWE, and I look forward to continuing to build the business alongside this leadership team for the long term.”

Triple H Gained Creative Control After Vince McMahon Stepped Down

Triple H became Head of Creative and then Chief Content Officer after Vince McMahon announced his retirement on July 31st, 2022. McMahon’s departure came following allegations of sexual misconduct and claims that he used “hush money payments” in an effort to suppress these allegations.
