‘The Game’ Triple H has given his opinion on NXT alumni, Rhea Ripley, as the Australian looks to make the full-time jump to WWE’s main roster.

Speaking on the pre-NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day media call where he took calls from journalists all around the world, Helmsley was questioned about ‘The Nightmare’ and what potential he sees for her when she finally takes that huge step onto Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown:

“I’ve been vocal about her in the past. I don’t know that there has…everybody brings skill sets to the table, at her age, twenty-three I think still, her maturity where she is now from where she was a year ago she’s just a different level of confident performer. She brings so much to the table from a work ethic and an attitude and ability, she is a sponge for learning and she is humble to it. She wants to learn, she wants to work with everybody, I mean I can’t say enough good stuff about her and to me if you were to say. ‘Name me a breakout star right now’, and I would put Bianca Belair in that same category, but if I was to say who was that next person to step in to those roles and really just a game changer over the next year or two, it’s Rhea. She just has, ‘It’, written all over her.”

After falling to Raquel Gonzalez at NXT New Year’s Evil on January 6, 2021, Ripley disappeared from the black and gold brand with Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter stating that she main roster bound in January with the company keeping her back for a surprise entry into the 2021 Royal Rumble.

As it came to pass, Rhea Ripley did turn out for the elimination spectacular and made what is considered to be her official main roster debut when she entered number fourteen, eliminated seven women and lasted 39:06 before being eliminated by winner Bianca Belair after reaching the final two.

At time of writing, WWE have yet to debut Rhea on either their red or blue brand, though the star recently took to Twitter to exhibit a new look seemingly ready for her chance in the spotlight.
