Triple H recently took to social media to praise the brutal NXT UK Championship battle between WALTER and Ilja Dragunov.
‘The Game’ referred to the match as “one of the most physical fights in a WWE ring”, before urging his followers to watch the match on the WWE Network.

The NXT boss’ praise for the black and red brand went further than this week’s highly-acclaimed main event, however. In light of BT Sport’s new ‘No Filter’ mini-documentary which shined a spotlight on NXT UK Superstars in and out of the squared circle, Triple H said:
“The Superstars of NXT UK shine in support of their brand… in the ring, on the pitch, and all over the UK. BT Sport’s No Filter WWE is an amazing spotlight for one of the hottest brands in the world.”
Serving as WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, Triple H oversees the UK brand’s operations alongside Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom.
In the No Filter documentary, NXT UK head writer and PROGRESS founder Jim Smallman described Michaels’ excitement during the main event, before adding his own praise to the match.
Along with Dragunov and WALTER’s epic encounter, this week’s episode of NXT UK also featured the undefeated Aoife Valkyrie do battle with Dani Luna, the return of Jordan Devlin and an announcement of Rampage Brown’s imminent arrival.
