WWE legend Triple H has seemingly opened the door for Conor McGregor to transition from Octagon to squared circle, telling the Irishman “just say when” regarding a potential WWE appearance.
The Game, who is now WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, would respond to a tweet from McGregor in response to NXT Champion Finn Balor. Former WWE Universal Champion Finn Balor had tweeted out a photo of three action figures standing in a wrestling ring – one of himself, Triple H and UFC star Conor McGregor.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship Featherweight and Lightweight Champion would then respond saying, “No more Mr Nice Guy” – which prompted the open invitation from Triple H.

Conor McGregor has long been linked with a switch to WWE, having seemingly adopted the iconic Vince McMahon strut during his UFC career, with Sheamus becoming the latest WWE Superstar to express his desire to step in the ring with his countryman.
“He’s teased [coming to WWE] a couple of times. He’s still staying active, he’s a lad who’s won belts, he’s done a lot, so I think he’s that type of person who’s always trying to try his hand at something different. I think WWE would suit him down to the ground.”
Will Conor McGregor respond to The Game? Stay tuned with Inside The Ropes for more as this story develops.
