Triple H has given an update on Brock Lesnar’s status in WWE.
Brock Lesnar was widely expected to return at the Royal Rumble back in January, but those plans were dropped when he was associated with the Vince McMahon sex trafficking scandal. While Lesnar wasn’t named in Janel Grant’s lawsuit, the Wall Street Journal confirmed he was the “world-famous athlete and former UFC Heavyweight Champion” referenced in the text.
At the press conference following WrestleMania Saturday, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics asked Triple H about Lesnar’s current status with the company. The WWE CCO confirmed that there were talks to bring him back at the Royal Rumble, but right now he is “home being Brock” and is still part of WWE.
“At one point, there was a conversation with Brock about Royal Rumble quite a long time ago. Right now, Brock is home being Brock. And we’ll see where that leads to from here. His status is the same as it’s been before. Brock is not gone from WWE, he’s just home being Brock.”

WWE Making Moves To Bring Back Brock Lesnar
