Triple H teased some pretty big surprises and promises ahead of Raw’s Netflix jump.
Next month, on January 6th, 2025, WWE is set to create history. With the big Netflix transition happening, the promotion has already teased several big matches, rivalries, and appearances for the show. Termed online as a ‘WrestleMania quality’ episode, fans have massive expectations from it.
On the recently conducted RAW on Netflix Kickoff event, The Game discussed the Monday-Night show’s jump to Netflix, before hyping it up. A former wrestler and the current chief content officer of the promotion, Triple H further added several huge promises.
Now, with the biggest streaming service in the world as our partner, we become bigger than we have ever been before. On January 6, it is not just the launch of Raw. It is a new launch of WWE worldwide. I promise you, we will bring you the biggest stars, we will bring you the biggest storylines, we will bring you things like you have never seen before.
Netflix on January 6 is just the start. That officially is the road to WrestleMania in Las Vegas. I can promise you from here to then, this will be like nothing you have ever seen before.”
The Raw Netflix premiere episode will also host CM Punk versus Seth Rollins, Solo Sikoa versus Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley versus Liv Morgan, the commencement of John Cena’s retirement tour, Logan Paul’s return, and many more.
Adding further to the list of WWE’s achievements, The King of Kings stated that the promotion has a bright future.
Triple H Predicts WWE’s Future Success
In the same event, Triple H further commented on WWE’s current successful period and the future it has ahead.
I think [WWE’s success] is sustainable. It is a global product with a global fanbase, with people from all around the world that come together what WWE brings them week in and week out. This time, I can look at the roster that we have and say I have never seen a roster of more talented men and women from top to bottom than we have right now.
I have never seen this company have more global appeal than what we have right now, and with NXT and the Performance Center and everything that Shawn Michaels and Matt Bloom and that team are creating, this is as sustainable as it has ever been. The future is incredibly bright.”
While only Raw will be streamed live from Netflix in the USA, all other products, including NXT and SmackDown, will be available on Netflix to stream live in the International market.
