Triple H Addresses Rhea Ripley Vacating WWE Women's World Championship On Raw

Triple H is optimistic about Rhea Ripley’s return to the ring.

Prior to the April 15th episode of Raw going on the air, a report broke that stated that Ripley was dealing with a serious injury and may have to relinquish the Women’s World Championship. Unfortunately, the report turned out to be true as Rhea Ripley vacated the title in the opening segment, bringing her 380-day reign to an end abruptly.

Seen backstage later in the night, Ripley met and hugged The Judgment Day following the news, understandably devastated by the events that took place earlier in the night. Additional backstage footage has also been uploaded to social media, which sees Triple H hugging the former Women’s World Champion and is captioned with a very positive message:

Absolutely no doubt in my mind that @RheaRipley_WWE will come back tougher, stronger and more dominant than ever. Thank you, Rhea, for a reign that the entire @WWEUniverse can be proud of.

With Ripley being such a dominant champion and one of the top stars on the entire roster, many fans were sad to see the reign come to an end this way and hope to see The Eradicator back in the ring again very soon. On Raw, Ripley stated that he would be on the sidelines for a few months.

Triple H Appears On Raw To Issue Announcement
