Triple H has given updates on the injury status of two stars following WWE SummerSlam.
The main event of WWE SummerSlam between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa was held under Bloodline Rules, meaning anything goes. The chaotic bout saw interference from Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Jacob Fatu, as well as Roman Reigns making his triumphant return to WWE.
Reigns proved to be the difference maker as he took out Sikoa with a Superman Punch and a Spear to hand the victory to The American Nightmare.
During the chaos, Fatu hit Rhodes with a splash onto Rhodes through the announce table. Afterwards, the newest member of The Bloodline was holding his leg, with many fearing he had suffered an injury.
“He Got A Little Banged Up” – Triple H Addresses Jacob Fatu Injury Status
On the SummerSlam Post-Show, Triple H praised Jacob Fatu as a “force of nature” before admitting the star was “a little banged up” after the Bloodline Rules bout.
“I have to mention Jacob Fatu because he’s like a force of nature, and it’s amazing to see him. Unfortunately, he got a little banged up in that last match.”
During SummerSlam, LA Knight also captured the United States Championship from Logan Paul. According to Triple H, Paul didn’t leave the event unscathed either, as he is also banged up. The Chief Content Officer is hopeful that neither man has suffered serious injury.
“The only two real — Logan [Paul] is a little banged up, as he should be, and Jacob is a little banged up. I’ll see where that nets out here in a little bit. Hopefully, nothing serious. It was bugging him a little bit, the leg so, we will see where he is.”
