Trevor Murdoch defeated Aron Stevens to capture the NWA National Championship on the third episode of UWN Primetime Live.
Murdoch, who made his NWA debut on the October 15th, 2019, NWA Powerrr, challenged Stevens for the gold on February 4th before the National Wrestling Alliance took its break because of the COID-19 pandemic. The bout ended in time limit draw.
Since joining the NWA, Murdoch has had a varying degree of success which included reaching the Final of the NWA Television Championship Tournament at NWA Hard Times. He lost to Ricky Starks.
Former champion, Aron Stevens, claimed the gold at NWA Into the Fire when he won a Triple Threat Match against Colt Cabana and Ricky Starks.
