Trent Out 4-5 Months, Chuckie T Challenges Miro

Trent, Chuckie T, Orange Cassidy

Miro interrupted Chuckie T as he gave an update on the status of Best Friend Trent.

Last month, AEW star Trent suffered a partially torn pec that meant he would be out of action for some time. While being interviewed on the latest episode of Dynamite, Chuckie T revealed that his Best Friend won’t be able to return for another 4-5 months.

Before he could provide any further information, Miro interrupted the interview alongside Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. This led to Chuckie T challenging Miro to a match on next week’s episode, the Best Man accepted but added the stipulation that if Chuckie loses, he has to be his “Young Boy” until the wedding of Sabian and Ford on February 3rd.

“Young Boy” is a term used in Japanese pro-wrestling to refer to a trainee wrestler. As well as helping to set up shows, they can also be expected to perform household chores at their dormitory and assist more senior wrestlers by carrying their bags among other things.

Next week will see the latest chapter in the feud between the Best Friends and Miro, Sabian, and Ford which has been running since October, when Chuckie T and Trent accidentally destroyed Miro and Sabian’s arcade game cabinet during a match with FTR.

We at Inside the Ropes wish Trent all the best with his recovery.
