Trent Jokes About The Undertaker – “He Needs To Be Put In Jail”

The Undertaker Being Arrested

Trent, one half of the tag team Best Friends in All Elite Wrestling gave his take on the controversial Undertaker appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience.

The Undertaker shared his thoughts on the state of the wrestling business during his interview. Including saying that he thought the business was now “soft,” the Deadman also seemed to take issue with the locker room atmosphere of today compared to when he started in the business.

Several wrestlers have responded on social media. Current WWE Superstar Xavier Woods seemingly tweeted his thoughts regarding what was said. Hugely influential and highly respected wrestling trainer Tom Prichard also shared his views, defending The Undertaker, he said:

“Required listening for wrestlers, rasslers and ‘play rasslers’: The Joe Rogan Experience #1598 Listen… Really LISTEN. Toxic? Really?!”

Trent, who wrestled in WWE as Trent Baretta between 2009 and 2013, replied to Prichard, simply stating:

“bad take. the undertaker needs to be put in jail.”

Clarifying afterwards, if there was any doubt, as to how serious he was, Trent followed up with another tweet:

“I think you might have misunderstood my tone.”

Trent has found success in both New Japan Pro-Wrestling and AEW since leaving WWE. In Japan, he would hold the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships four times with Rocky Romero as Roppongi Vice. Yet to capture championship gold in AEW, Trent would be a part of a highly critically acclaimed Parking Lot Brawl with his partner Chuck Taylor against Santana and Ortiz. The Best Friends would claim victory in the Meltzer-rated five-star match.
