At Night Of Champions held this past Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, reigning WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were able to hold off the challenge of Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa after a classic bout that also saw the apparent imploding of The Bloodline.

Ahead of the contest, the Special Counsel to The Bloodline, Paul Heyman, commandeered control of the microphone from ring announcer Mike Rome as he was set to introduce the challengers to the crowd before giving a trademark introduction of his own.

Whilst the crowd lapped up Heyman’s words, they were soon off their feet as Sami Zayn decided to deliver an impassioned introduction of his own.

Sami Zayn Delivers Own Introduction In Arabic

Zayn had been unable to perform for WWE in Saudi Arabia previously following diplomatic issues between the country of his descent, Syria, and the Night Of Champions host.

With issues between the two Arabic countries now cooled, the Superstar was able to headline the show alongside Owens, who himself had previously skipped shows in the country as an act of solidarity with his great friend.

With the pair set to be introduced, Zayn took to the microphone and delivered a crowd pleasing speech in Arabic. That address to the frenzied crowd at the Jeddah Super Dome has been translated by Twitter user @naifsedge :

“Calm down
Calm down
Calm down

Pray to the prophet

We’re in an Arab country
We have an Arab champion
We’re gonna do this in Arabic

Introducing the prizefighter (Now in English) Kevin Owens And Sami Zayn”.

It capped off an incredible week in the Middle East for Zayn. The former WWE Intercontinental Champion is a follower of the Muslim faith and was able to complete an Umrah, a pilgramage to the Islamic holy city of Mecca.
