Sara Lee, a co-winner from the 2015 season of WWE Tough Enough, has tragically passed away, aged just 30.
Sara Weston, known to WWE fans as Sara Lee, sadly passed away this week at the tender age of just 30-years-old.
News of her passing was released on Thursday morning by her mother, who posted a heartwrenching statement on Facebook. She wrote:
“It is with heavy hearts we wanted to share that our Sara Weston has gone to be with Jesus. We are all in shock and arrangements are not complete. We ask that you respectfully let our family mourn. We all need prayers especially Cory and her children.”
She had posted to Instagram just one day prior, expressing how happy she was just to have been able to muster up the strength to work out. Comments on this post have since been flooded with messages of condolence.
Co-winning the 2015 season of WWE Tough Enough alongside Josh Bredl, Sara Lee – who adopted the ring name of Hope throughout her Tough Enough journey – Sara Lee was assigned to the WWE Performance Center in September 2015. It was here that she reverted to using her real name.
Lee married former WWE Superstar Wesley Blake in December 2017, with the couple having three young children together.
