Top WWE Title Changes Hands At Night Of Champions

WWE Night of Champions arena shot

WWE Night of Champions saw a title change.

One of the titles on the line at this year’s WWE Night of Champions was the United States Championship held by Jacob Fatu, who defended it against his own family member, Solo Sikoa. Despite his best efforts, his strength wasn’t enough against the numbers of the former Tribal Chief’s faction.

JC Mateo appeared later in the match, which gave way for Tonga Loa to make his much-awaited return and interfere in the match. Still, The Samoan Werewolf was able to fight back, though only momentarily, as Hikuleo (Tala Tonga) then debuted to help the challenger.

After the attack on Fatu, Solo Sikoa was able to capitalize and walk away from Night of Champions as the new United States Champion.

Triple H On Solo Sikoa Winning At WWE Night of Champions

Following Solo Sikoa’s win at Night of Champions, Triple H was quick to react to the win by tweeting about the title change with the caption “by any means necessary,” clearly talking about how it takes an army to take down somebody like Jacob Fatu.

It remains to be seen what is next for Solo Sikoa’s new army on Friday Night SmackDown.
