Top WWE Star Dealing With A Brain Injury

WWE Judgment Day Rhea Ripley Edge Damian Priest Finn Balor

A top WWE star who’s been on the injured list reveals they’re dealing with a brain injury.

On the June 20th episode of Monday Night Raw, Bianca Belair addressed the crowd and revealed that her scheduled match against Rhea Ripley wouldn’t be taking place at Money in the Bank because Ripley is not medically cleared to compete. Ripley showed off a dental injury as a result of an errant knee on social media, though it is unclear whether the injury occurred at Hell in a Cell or on last week’s episode of Raw.

Belair then announced that Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan, Carmella, Asuka, and Becky Lynch would face off in a fatal five-way match to see who faces her at Money in the Bank. That match saw Carmella emerge victorious meaning she is now the number one contender to Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship.

Now, in a new post on social media, Rhea Ripley revealed that the dental work isn’t the only harm she’s suffered lately. When one Instagram user commented that the star didn’t “look injured,” she replied that she’s also dealing with a brain injury.

“Brain/teeth. Can’t see a brain injury. Stop being incompetent and reaching for nothing.”

Prior to her injury, Rhea Ripley had been scheduled to face Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship after winning a fatal four way match on June 7th. Damian Priest and Finn Balor joined her in the ring afterward to celebrate her victory while Bianca Belair held up her championship at ringside. Earlier in the night, Finn Balor joined The Judgment Day before the group shockingly delivered a brutal beatdown to Edge, ousting him as leader.

As of yet it is unknown when the former Raw Women’s Champion will return to the ring, though she’s already started teasing her return on social media.
