Top WWE Star Selling Merchandise Using Previous Ring Name

GUNTHER Seth Rollins WWE Raw

Seth Rollins has been part of WWE for over a decade, making himself into a household name and becoming a two-time Grand Slam Champion in the company.

However, prior to his signing with the sports entertainment giant in 2010, Rollins rose to prominence in the world of independent wrestling as Tyler Black. Under that name, he became ROH World Champion, winning the title from Austin Aries just months before signing his WWE contract.

In addition to his life as a world-renowned superstar, Rollins also owns and operates the Black and Brave Wrestling Academy alongside his former tag team partner Marek Brave. According to the wrestling school’s social media, he is now selling merchandise through the school that features his previous name, something that’s quite uncommon for stars under the WWE banner.

Seth Rollins Defeated Logan Paul At WWE WrestleMania 39

Rollins has had his fair share of blockbuster matches throughout his career, and on April 1st, he faced YouTube star-turned-wrestler Logan Paul on the Grandest Stage of Them All.

The two had been at odds for months, ever since Paul shockingly eliminated Rollins from the Royal Rumble. Tensions intensified at the Elimination Chamber when Logan Paul entered the chamber to attack Rollins as Montez Ford received medical attention. This attack cost Rollins the United States Championship, allowing Austin Theory to retain.

When the time for their one on one clash finally arrived, Paul made his entrance on a zipline that he joked he’d gotten for his birthday as he turned 28 on April 1st. In the middle of the match, the giant PRIME energy drink mascot at ringside was revealed to be none other than KSI, Paul’s former boxing rival and current business partner. Despite KSI at ringside, Rollins was victorious in their match.
