Jey Uso wants one more shot at a particular WWE star to rectify a previous mistake.
Although Uso looked to break away from The Bloodline drama in the latter half of 2023, fans knew that things were far from over between both sides. Following repeated interactions and interferences between Jey and his brother Jimmy Uso, the brother vs. brother match was confirmed for WrestleMania 40.
The match itself was widely panned by critics and fans with many believing it to be the weakest match of the entire weekend.
Speaking with Peter Rosenberg on the Cheap Heat podcast, Uso stated that he wants another opportunity to face his brother again as he knows that they are capable of a much better performance:
“To be honest, I would like to run it back with my brother one more time. Like, I would like to because (it) left a little bad taste in my mouth with that one.”
“I just know what we can do. The fans have no damn clue. I know, me and my brother know, man. And hell yeah, we would have stole the show. It was just things happen. We’re all a team.”
Jey Uso On Course For Major WWE Accolade
Uso has had a breakout year in 2024 with multiple high-profile matches, an insane reaction at Backlash France and a reign as the Intercontinental Champion, his first singles title reign in more than a decade in the company. If Jey Uso continues his strong momentum throughout the rest of the year, he is set to achieve a major WWE accolade.
