Top WWE Star Appears During MLB Celebrity Softball Game

Former WWE Champion The Miz once again transferred his talents from the ring to the diamond as he appeared in the 2023 MLB All-Star Legends & Celebrity Softball Game on Saturday evening.

The famed host of Miz TV is a previous two-time MVP winner of the celebrated annual game including capturing the crown for his performance in the 2022 game.

The ‘Most Must See Superstar In WWE’ was unable to repeat the feat this year, however, with former Seattle Mariners second baseman Bret Boone claiming the MVP infront of his former home fans at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.

The game saw a host of television, social media and sports stars in action. Full details of the line up’s were announced by MLB ahead of the game:

Among the lineup of celebs who have heading to the Pacific Northwest for this year’s game are Pitch Perfect actors Adam Devine and Skylar Astin, Olympians Chloe Kim, Jennie Finch and Natasha Watley, social media sensation JoJo Siwa, Latino recording artists Yandel, Christian Nodal, Natti Natasha and Blessd.

Former Mariners Félix Hernández, Bret Boone, Mike Cameron, and Adam Jones once again take the field for fans in Seattle. Other notable athletes suiting up for this year’s game include Real Madrid star Rodrygo, WWE superstar The Miz and NBA stars Donovan Mitchell and Zach LaVine, a Washington native.

The Miz has obtained a reputation for his appearances in other sports, most recently taking to the basketball court after being selected to appear in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game in February 2023.

The WWE Superstar. who hosted WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles earlier this year, shocked fans as he launched a stunning successful shot from the half way line, which flew into the net and seemingly secured victory for his team.

Officials, however, quickly stepped in and adjudged that the Ohio-born star had released his effort after the buzzer had sounded.
