Despite being under the age of 30, Tyler Bate has accomplished plenty during his time in WWE.
Not only was he the first- and last-ever NXT UK Champion, he also won both the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championships alongside his longtime tag team partner Trent Seven before the two split in June of 2022.
According to a new report from WRKD Wrestling, the 26 year old star turned heads during a recent Main Event match against Dolph Ziggler. Because of his performance, he’s being considered for a call-up to WWE’s main roster during the WWE Draft in late April/early May.
“After a well received match on Main Event against Dolph Ziggler, NXT’s Tyler Bate has been mentioned internally as a potential call up during the upcoming WWE draft.”

Tyler Bate Helped Chase U To Victory At WWE NXT Stand And Deliver
In recent weeks, Bate has found himself in an alliance with Chase U, helping the group in their fight against the Joe Gacy-led Schism. His mindful affirmations were especially helpful for Chase U member Thea Hail, who is dealing with the trauma of having been kidnapped by Ava back in February.
On April 1st ahead of WrestleMania 39, Bate teamed with Hail, Andre Chase, and Duke Hudson to take on Joe Gacy, Ava, Jagger Reid, and Rip Fowler in mixed tag team action. In the end, despite teasing a split from his team during the bout, Duke Hudson picked up the victory for Chase U after Andre Chase helped him hit a Fratliner on Jagger Reid.
