WWE continue to stack the line-up for its debut episode on the CW Network.
October 1st will mark a new era for the developmental brand as the show will move off the USA Network and will be broadcast on CW Sports for at least the next 5 years, a network that has nationwide coverage. Taking place in Chicago, the show looks to make as massive impression as CM Punk has been announced to appear live on NXT. Additionally, Ethan Page will put the NXT Championship on the line against an opponent to be determined. In addition to this, Roxanne Perez will face her greatest challenge as the brand’s Women’s Champion.
Following on from her victory at No Mercy, Perez celebrated in the ring before the lights went out to signal that Giulia had arrived in NXT. Looking to continue the celebrations on the September 3rd edition of the show, Perez appeared in the main event segment and once again gloated about her victory over Jaida Parker. The lights went out again, only for Perez to be interrupted by Chelsea Green.
As Green stated that no one would stop her from being the number one contender, the lights went out again to signal the arrival of Giulia. Taking out Green, Giulia simply stated “Me, You, CW” to signify the future challenge.
With there being 3 episodes of NXT left before the title match, it is unknown if Giulia will compete on NXT before her match against Perez.
