A top WWE name made a huge botch by confusing a top star with AJ Lee.
AJ Lee is one of the most popular figures in WWE’s history, and never in a million years would she be mistaken for someone else. Well, it looks like one can never say never in this business, as a top star made that very mistake on tonight’s episode of RAW.
The Voice of WWE, Michael Cole, made the head-scratching botch while calling a match between Dominik Mysterio and Dragon Lee. The veteran commentator seemed to mix up his names, as he combined both AJ Styles‘ name and Dragon Lee’s name, inadvertently name-dropping AJ Lee.
Cole was making a reference to the Phenomenal One, and how the latter admitted that he fell victim to Mysterio’s trickery at SummerSlam. However, in the heat of the moment, he said “Lee” instead of “Styles.” It was a pretty big mistake that Corey Graves quickly helped cover up.

Michael Cole attributed his mistake to the long weekend he had. Considering RAW is the third night in a row he has been on the mic, it’s understandable, and it goes to show that even a 28-year veteran can make mistakes.
Michael Cole confirmed that WWE reached out to Brock Lesnar weeks ago
Speaking of Michael Cole, he confirmed some huge news on RAW. While discussing the emphatic return of Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Cole revealed that the Beast Incarnate’s return has been in the works for weeks.
He confirmed that he had spoken to both Nick Khan and Triple H, the latter of whom shared that WWE has been in conversation with Lesnar for weeks. The Game reportedly told the Beast that it was time to return “home,” and Lesnar was in full agreement.
Now, Brock is well and truly back, and based on what went down at SummerSlam, he has John Cena in his sights.
