Top Talent Makes Massive Botch Immediately After WWE Return

WWE star threatened

A returning top talent made a huge mistake on WWE SmackDown.

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown saw the return of a top star in the form of Jelly Roll. The last time the rapper/singer was seen in WWE was at SummerSlam 2024, where he chokeslammed Austin Theory. Tonight, he was in attendance in his hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.

Unfortunately, Jelly Roll was involved in a major botch. The 40-year-old was singing his song Liar for the fans in attendance. However, he sang a bit too long, because he completely forgot to stop singing when Logan Paul interrupted.

This led to an embarrassing situation where Paul was trying to get everyone’s attention, but Jelly Roll was still singing in the middle of the ring with music blaring in the background. This forced The Maverick to pull the plug on the speaker and continuously shout on the mic in order to get Jelly’s attention.

It wasn’t so bad that the whole segment was ruined, but it was awkward, to say the least. What followed, though, was a pretty scathing promo from Logan Paul.

Randy Orton came to Jelly Roll’s rescue on WWE SmackDown

Logan Paul did not hold back when addressing Jelly Roll tonight on WWE SmackDown. Not only did he question why Jelly was working with the Stamford-based promotion, but he also brought up the rapper/singer’s children and how he does not have custody over his eight-year-old son.

All this seemed to genuinely hurt the 40-year-old, who for a moment looked lost in the ring. Fortunately, Randy Orton came to his rescue and got right in the face of Paul, questioning how he could call Jelly Roll an “outsider” in WWE.
