The Bloodline could be expanding with a top NXT star in the very near future.
According to PWInsider’s Mike Johnson, former NXT North American Title challenger, Solo Sikoa could soon be called up the WWE’s main roster.
Per the report, it’s been widely speculated backstage in WWE that Sikoa will be called up to either RAW or SmackDown ‘in the very near future, possibly as soon as the next month.
Sikoa’s challenged for the NXT North American Championship on two separate occasions, first at NXT Stand & Deliver, where he, Santos Escobar, Grayson Waller, and Carmelo Hayes lost to Cameron Grimes in a Ladder Match.
His potential final title opportunity came at NXT: Spring Breakin’, this past May where he and the aforementioned Hayes lost to Grimes in a three-way match for the title.
The 29-year-old is the son of WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi and is the younger brother of the current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, Jimmy and Jey Uso.
Sikoa last competed on WWE programming on the August 2 episode of NXT 2.0 where he defeated Von Wagner in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.
It was reported, earlier in the week that another pair of NXT 2.0 talent could be heading to the main roster following their SmackDown debuts, last Friday night.
