The current NWA World Women’s Champion has publicly expressed her desire to become a WWE Superstar.
Speaking to Insiders Edge: A Pro Wrestling Podcast Kamille was asked about WWE and the possibility of signing for the company before comparing them to the New York Yankees.
“Yeah, I think anybody that says no to that would be lying. Truthfully, WWE is, like you said, the Yankees. They’re the top of the top, and so I think that anybody who takes their wrestling career seriously, they wanna end up — even if it’s just for five years or something like that, just for the amount of time to prove that you’ve ‘made it’ and that all the work you’ve put in, all the hours of driving, all of the grind that no one sees has finally paid off. So, yeah, I would love to have that opportunity at some point.”
Despite Interest In WWE Kamille “Loves” Working With The NWA
“Even Billy, my boss, understands as well. NWA, although I freaking love working there, and I love all of my co-workers, the office, it’s great — we aren’t on that level yet, that’s a fact. So, although I want to be there to help the company grow and get as big as possible, I still would love to have the opportunity one day to work for WWE and show people on a larger scale what I’m made of, what I can do.”
Kamille began her NWA career as the valet for the two-time Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis. Her intimidating presence saw her become an active performer and one of the promotion’s biggest attractions.
She is in the midst of a 500+ day championship reign after defeating AEW star, Serena Deeb to capture the women’s title at When Our Shadows Fall in 2021.
Since winning the title she has successfully defended it on twenty-six occasions, establishing her as one of the most dominant women’s champions in the promotion’s history.
The powerhouse is also establishing herself outside of Billy Corgan’s promotion. In 2022 Kamille also challenged Taya Valkyrie for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at Triplemanía XXX.
