Top NFL Star Hints At Future WWE Run

WWE logo over roster

WWE is no stranger to having former NFL players join its ranks, and now a San Francisco 49er expressed interest in becoming the next football star to cross over into the world of professional wrestling.

NFL star George Kittle made waves on social media earlier this month when he was on the receiving end of his Pro Bowl teammate Kyle Juszczyk’s Rock Bottom, the WWE finisher most associated with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. When the clip began to get attention, he made it known that he was available on April 1st and 2nd, the dates of the upcoming WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, CA.

The star has made no secret of his professional wrestling fandom, having attended WWE events in the past and even sporting a custom Penta El Zero Miedo mask. When asked by TMZ whether he would consider a run in the WWE, he had this to say:

“Sounds fun. I think I’ve got the personality for it.”

The football star was then asked what his wrestling name would be if he were to join the sports entertainment giant, and he responded simply, “George.”

George Kittle Said He And Bayley Were “Best Friends” After She Wore His Jersey On WWE Raw

While Kittle hasn’t yet made his way to the WWE, he has been represented on Raw in the past. On the January 16th episode, Bayley sported his number 85 jersey during a promo segment between herself and Becky Lynch where Lynch issued a challenge to face the Role Model inside a steel cage.

The Cincinnati crowd wasn’t too pleased to see the 49ers’ jersey represented, but Kittle himself took to social media to declare that he and Bayley were “best friends.”

Kittle and Bayley were also pictured together in December at Levi’s Stadium when the 49ers overcame the Washington Commanders.
