Top Dolla Responds To Reports He “Rubbed People The Wrong Way” Prior To Release

Former WWE Superstar and Hit Row member Top Dolla has responded to claims that he had irked people in the company and says he called the office after someone else was let go.

On November 18th, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful broke the news that 8 WWE Superstars were set to be let go by the company. It emerged that Hit Row, John Morrison, Tegan Nox, Jaxson Ryker, Shane Thorne, and Drake Maverick were the ones leaving the company.

Some of those stars have since reacted on social media while the wider wrestling world has also been reacting to the shocking events.

One member of Hit Row, Top Dolla, responded to a story on social media that had suggested the star had “rubbed people the wrong way” before he was let go:

“Here’s what rubs people the wrong way. -Standing up for your own. When Bri was released and I called the office myself to tell them they made a mistake. -Standing up for yourself. Ppl in the PC told me “Hit Row” wouldn’t work for a year and a half & I never took their advice.”

“TRUST ME I got plenty stories I can tell about how I was disrespected but just took it on the chin like a professional. Even with the video I released today it was all professionalism. But I’m NOT gonna let these BS “reports” ruin my reputation. I got tea I can spill too.”

The Bri in question is B-Fab of Hit Row who was part of a round of releases on November 4th, just weeks after the group was drafted to SmackDown from NXT.
