A number of big names could be set to miss AEW Full Gear as the uncertainty behind the scenes in the promotion continues.
AEW Full Gear is scheduled to take place on November 19th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey and will round out the promotion’s pay-per-view plans for the year.
However, a number of AEW’s biggest stars could be set to miss the event.
CM Punk, The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega are no longer featured on the promotional poster for the show, despite appearing on earlier versions. The names listed above are all currently suspended by the company following a backstage brawl in the hours after All Out.
Punk was already expected to miss the show after undergoing surgery to repair a serious triceps injury. The former World Champion is expected to be out of action for around eight months.
Interestingly, all three-members of the House of Black are featured, despite reports that Malakai Black has left the company.
With regard to the suspensions of the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Michael Nakazawa, Pat Buck, Christopher Daniels and Brandon Cutler information has been scarce. It was recently reported by Fightful Select that even those who have been suspended have no idea how long the sanction will last. It is believed that they will remain in place until a third-party investigation into the All Out incident has concluded.
It has been noted that MJF will interviewed as part of this process, seemingly as a witness, despite not being involved in the fight itself.
