Mercedes Mone has confirmed that fans can expect to see her at Wrestle Dynasty in January.
At Full Gear, Mone defended the TBS Championship against Kris Statlander in a classic bout. The CEO tried everything against the more powerful Statlander but couldn’t keep the former TBS Champion down. Finally, out of desperation Mone bit Statlander’s apparently injured right knee before throwing her into the ropes and rolling her up to escape with her title reign intact.
On the post-show media scrum, Mone was asked about her status for Wrestle Dynasty, the cross-promotional event that will see All Elite Wrestling teaming up with NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM in Japan’s Tokyo Dome on January 5th.
As well as being the TBS Champion, Mone holds the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title. As a representative of both companies, she confirmed she plans to be at the show, but still needs to work out the details with Tony Khan.
“If I am the TBS Champion and New Japan Strong Women’s Champion, you can expect me at Wrestle Dynasty in Japan at the Tokyo Dome. I’m going to talk to my CEO [points at Tony Khan]. We’ll have to plan that out.”
Mercedes looking for motivation in her inspiration, but Kris isn't willing to give up!

Mercedes Mone Jokes About AEW Birthday Botch
Mercedes Mone has addressed a “hilarious surprise” from AEW. As it does for all its stars, the company wished Mone a happy birthday on social media on November 17th, the only problem was that The CEO’s birthday is actually on January 26th. Mone was confused by all of the birthday wishes she received when she woke up, but took it all in good fun.
