Keith Lee hasn’t been seen on AEW television since December but that will all change on the February 17th episode of Rampage.
On the show, Dustin Rhodes was taking on Lee’s former tag team partner Swerve Strickland. However, Parker Boudreaux, one of Strickland’s new associates got involved in the match to cause a disqualification. This brought out Lee to make the save to the delight of the crowd.
Keith Lee had been absent since the December 21st edition of Dynamite when he was attacked by Strickland and his new faction later dubbed Mogul Affiliates. After a vicious beatdown, Strickland hit a huge double stomp onto Lee who had a cinder block placed across his chest.
Since putting his former tag team partner out of action, Strickland has targeted Dustin Rhodes repeatedly insulting his brother and father.
Keith Lee signed with AEW in February 2022 after his time with WWE was heavily impacted by health problems. A little over a month later Lee began teaming with Strickland and the pair won the World Tag Team Titles in July. However, after losing the titles at Dynamite Grand Slam the tensions between the pair bubbled to the surface, eventually leading to the break-up of the partnership.
