Tony Khan has been heaped with praises by a top AEW star.

Known to be extremely friendly and supportive of his talents, Tony Khan was recently hailed as an “amazing boss” by one of Khan’s top wrestlers. In just two days, All Out is set to take place with several championship defenses lined up.

At All In, Mercedes Mone retained her title against Britt Baker and is now set to face Hikaru Shida at All Out. However, alongside being the TBS Champion, Mone is also the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion. She recently defended her gold against Momo Watanabe at Capital Collision.

In her latest Mone Mag release, she opened up on the event and complimented Tony Khan. AEW writer Jennifer Pepperman was also at the show and informed Mone about Khan’s plans to watch the CEO wrestle. However, Khan’s plane got stuck in Illinois, and he could not make the journey to Washington D.C.

Jen Pepperman told me that Tony Kahn was jumping on his jet to come to catch my match. Unfortunately, Tony’s flight got stuck leaving Champagne, but he called me the moment he landed to say what a great job I did and that he will try to be there for my next fight!

What an honor to know someone who shoulders so much responsibility as Tony does was trying to fly all the way to DC just to see my match! What an amazing boss and leader with such infectious passion. It makes me want to work even harder for him, the women and AEW.”

The former WWE star feels honored with the responsibilities and feels motivated to do better watching the AEW president ooze such passion for the sport. On the latest episode of Dynamite, Mone’s muscle Kamile has been banned from ringside during her title defense against Shida.
