A top AEW star just took a massive jab at WWE during Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The 40th edition of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event and the Texas Deathmatch for the AEW World Championship at All In: Texas between Jon Moxley and Hangman Adam Page were aired simultaneously.
AEW’s Bryan Danielson Fires Shot at WWE
During the title match at All In, a recently-retired Bryan Danielson returned in a mask and immediately fired shots at World Wrestling Entertainment by doing his signature “Yes!” chants. For context, the “Yes” chant was The American Dragon’s signature taunt when he was with the sports entertainment powerhouse.
The hand gesture led to the ‘Yes Movement,’ allowing him to become a main eventer, which led to his crowning moment at WrestleMania XXX. Danielson (fka Daniel Bryan) beat Randy Orton and Batista at the Show of Shows in 2014 to become the WWE Champion.

Danielson then delivered a Busaiku Knee to the Death Rider’s Wheeler Yuta and took out Claudio Castagnoli and Gabe Kidd.
