Tony Khan Wears Neck Brace During NFL Draft Following AEW Dynamite Attack [Video]

As many had expected, Tony Khan continued to sell the AEW Dynamite assault during one of the biggest events on the NFL calendar.

The April 24th episode of Dynamite ended with the shocking angle that saw Khan attacked by Jack Perry and The Young Bucks. First struck in the ribs by Perry, Khan was then hit with the TK Driver by the Tag Team Champions. As the show went off the air, referees, wrestlers and even Tony’s father Shad Khan all came to the ring to check on the AEW President.

The day after Dynamite was the first day of the NFL Draft. With the Khan family also being the owners of the Jacksonville Jaguars, it was unknown if Tony would make an appearance on the show. The NFL also picked up on the events that took place and described Tony Khan as “questionable” for the event.

A backstage report from Fightful Select provided more information, stating that Khan was selling the injury even on a closed set as he was wearing a neck brace during the taping of the Parking Lot Brawl that will air on Rampage on April 27th. As the 2024 Draft was broadcast on the NFL Network, fans got what they were hoping for.

Tony Khan Sells Neck Injury

As cameras cut to the Jacksonville Jaguars’ war room, Khan was seen in the neck brace. Commentary for the draft referenced the attack and stated that Khan was the first ever NFL executive in a draft room shaking off the effects of a piledriver he received the night before.

No further televised appearances from Khan have been advertised for future AEW tapings.

In a new update in May 2024, Tony Khan has gifted the neck brace while also making a huge donation to charity.
