Tony Khan “Very Interested” In Hosting AEW Show At Another Historic Venue

Tony Khan

Tony Khan is not ruling out a future pro wrestling show at a venue that means a lot to wrestling fans.

Over the past 6 years, All Elite Wrestling has put on events at many iconic venues such as the Greensboro Coliseum, the Hammerstein Ballroom and Wembley Stadium in London.

On April 6th, the Dynasty pay-per-view took place and also marked the company’s debut in the city of Philadelphia. With fans in the area having a close connection to the extreme promotion ECW, there is hope that Khan will bring AEW back to the city but at a different venue.

Speaking at the Dynasty post-show press conference, Khan was asked about a future show at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, also known as the ECW Arena:

“2300 Arena, right? I would be very interested in that, truthfully. So I would absolutely love to run there… I think that would be really cool if we could go to the 2300 Arena sometime. I haven’t been there in a long time.”

Back in November 2024, WWE presented a special episode of NXT from the 2300 Arena, which saw multiple cameos from ECW legends on the show.

Tony Khan Responds To AEW Backlash

The main event of Dynasty saw Jon Moxley retain the World Championship over Swerve Strickland thanks to an assist from the returning Young Bucks. The finish of the show was criticised by fans, mainly because the unpopular Moxley and Death Riders storyline is continuing. Also at the press conference, Tony Khan responded to the backlash and whether he considered calling an audible at the event.

In other news, a former AEW champion has denied talks with WWE.
