Tony Khan Unveils Location Of Future AEW PPV

AEW President Tony Khan

AEW President Tony Khan made a big announcement after Dynamite went off the air!

All Elite Wrestling made quite the splash with their debut in Detroit, MI on the most recent episode of Dynamite. The show’s second hour featured the second Blood and Guts match in company history, pitting the Jericho Appreciation Society against the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz.

The Blackpool Combat Club’s team was triumphant, but not without cost as Santana suffered an injury in the bout and is set to undergo an MRI to assess the damage. The injury appears to have occurred near the beginning of the match when his leg gave out on him as he attempted a uranage, and after lying on the ground for some time, he was taken out of the cage and helped to the back. He did not return to the match.

After the winning team (minus Santana) celebrated on top of the cage and show went off the air, AEW President Tony Khan addressed the crowd inside the Little Caesar’s Arena. According to PWInsider, revealed that he wants to hold an AEW pay per view in Detroit in the future. He did not provide further details or a timeframe for the pay per view to take place.

The aftermath of the show also saw Tony Khan pose in the ring with Orange Cassidy, Toni Storm, Thunder Rosa, Danhausen, John Silver, and Brodie Lee, Jr.

Once the carnage from Blood and Guts was cleared, the taping of the Royal Rampage match began and a new number one contender to Jon Moxley’s interim AEW World Championship was crowned.
