Tony Khan hasn’t been afraid to give AEW a little international flavor and that’s all the more evident with AEW All In making its way to Wembley in August.
The AEW President also is seemingly more than willing to make the company a family affair according to Saraya. One-third of The Outcasts made an appearance on “The Mark Hoke Show” in advance of AEW Double Or Nothing and she talked about her brother Zak Zodiac.
Much like Saraya herself, Zodiac has been a long-time wrestler but never got the shine that his sister got under the mainstream spotlight. Saraya is still hoping to change that and from the way it sounds, Khan is on board to make it happen.
“Tony without even thinking was like, ‘Sure, I’ll give you a dark match.'”
How Tony Khan Can Make The Most Of Zak Zodiac
Saraya stated that there’s a lot more story to be told following the success of “Fighting With My Family” a film that was produced by The Rock in 2020. She made clear that it wasn’t just her story being told in the movie and that WWE take advantage of the opportunity that was presented to them.
“That could’ve been the ultimate underdog story with my brother.”
Saraya found a bit of a struggle herself with kickstarting her own story in AEW. Fans were elated to see the veteran star show up in the company late last year, but she hit a bit of a speed bump in her first feud with Britt Baker as she came off as more of a heel in her initial promo. However, all that has corrected course with her eventual turn to the dark side.
We could potentially see Zodiac appear as soon as August as he’ll be eligible to receive his visa then, just in time for when the company looks to make history in Wembley.
