It has been announced that AEW President Tony Khan has some big news.
On Rampage, as he ran down what was coming up on Dynamite, Excalibur revealed that Khan will be making an “important announcement” on the show.
The episode also saw the return of Keith Lee who had been absent from television since the December 21st edition of Dynamite when he was attacked by Strickland and his new faction later dubbed Mogul Affiliates. After a vicious beatdown, Strickland hit a huge double stomp onto Lee who had a cinder block placed across his chest.
Also on Rampage The Elite defeated AR Fox and Top Flight to retain their World Trios Titles. After the match, the House of Black appeared before disappearing on the ramp, while Ricky Starks defeated Daniel Garcia.
Jade Cargill continued her remarkable undefeated streak with a win over Vertvixen to retain the TBS Title, and Don Callis was seen backstage attempting to strike a deal with Konosuke Takeshita.
Looking ahead to Dynamite it was announced that Saraya will be taking on Skye Blue, The Acclaimed square off against Big Bill & Lee Moriarty and Orange Cassidy puts his All-Atlantic Title on the line against Wheeler Yuta.

Tony Khan Hinted Forbidden Door 2 Is On The Way
The first AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event took place on June 26th, 2022. The event saw the best of AEW go up against the best of New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The event was a hit among fans and there has been a great deal of speculation about the show becoming a regular fixture on AEW’s pay-per-view schedule.
Speaking in a recent interview Tony Khan reiterated that he has a great relationship with NJPW. When asked whether fans can look forward to a second Forbidden Door event, he responded “I think so.”
