Tony Khan has given thanks to everyone in AEW following a challenging few days that have affected tapings.
Due to the ongoing effects of Hurricane Helene and travel restrictions already in place with the impending arrival of Hurricane Milton, All Elite Wrestling had to make changes to accommodate those unable to make it to the show. One notable change was Jeff Jarrett on commentary throughout the show, who called the action alongside Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.
In addition to travel issues, Britt Baker was unable to compete due to illness and did not appear for her scheduled match against Willow Nightingale. A 4-way match was booked instead with Nightingale emerging victorious as the new number one contender for Mariah May’s Women’s Championship at WrestleDream.
Taking to social media after the show, Khan showed his thanks to the team given that there were numerous extenuating circumstances that affected Dynamite:
Thank you all who watched Tuesday Night #AEWDynamite tonight! I’m proud of Team AEW pulling together despite numerous challenges and changes out of our control! We appreciate you all who watched tonight + it’s on again SOON
