The weather does not seem to be in favor of Tony Khan or AEW.

Tonight’s 11th January episode of Collision is set to take place live in the Akins Ford Arena in Athens, Georgia. However, severe weather conditions in Georgia have brought forward a lot of limitations for the Saturday night show. Due to widespread flight delays and cancellations, several wrestlers were obliged to drive to the venue.

Winter conditions and heavy snowfall have affected the country’s East Coast over the last several days, and Collision seems to be one of its victims right now. Sharing a travel update, AEW President Tony Khan recently posted a major update on X(Twitter) regarding the latest situation in Georgia.

Lots of flights delayed or canceled, but there’s a great crew en route to Athens, GA for tonight’s show! Many of them are driving in right now + World Champion Mariah May is riding in a limo.”

No further update has been shared on the situation. Tony Khan had shared something similar last night as well, warning fans about the possible changes that could take place during the episode.

Winter weather has hit the southeast, but the wrestlers are determined to be here! If flights are canceled, AEW stars will drive in to make sure it’s a great show in Athens.”

As per the latest statements, Collision is scheduled to go live as planned. However, we shall keep updating the story as we receive more information on the stars’ travel updates and the weather conditions.
