Tony Khan Responds To Reports Regarding AEW Show In Australia

AEW CEO Tony Khan has officially addressed swirling rumours about the company’s potential expansion into Australia, confirming that plans are indeed in motion for a significant event Down Under in 2025.

During a recent media call ahead of AEW All In 2024, Tony Khan shed light on the company’s international ambitions, stating:

We can confirm that we’re currently looking at various locations in Australia to run an event sometime next year in 2025 potentially. We’ll have more information about this in the near future. 2025 is going to be a milestone year.

This announcement comes on the heels of reports suggesting that AEW has been actively scouting Australian venues with the intention of hosting a stadium show in 2025. Khan’s comments not only validate these reports but also underscore AEW’s commitment to global expansion.

The company recently announced that the 2025 All In event is slated for Texas.
