Tony Khan Refuses To Comment On MJF Calling Him A Mark

Tony Khan has refused to comment on the time MJF called him a mark on AEW programming during his scathing post-Double or Nothing rant.

Tony Khan is continuing to dodge answering questions relating to MJF calling him a mark.

The AEW CEO was interviewed recently by Ariel Helwani, where he discussed all manner of topics – one of those being ‘The Salt of the Earth’. MJF returned to AEW programming at the conclusion of All Out, confronting then-AEW World Champion CM Punk and revealing himself as the masked Joker winner of the Casino Ladder match.

When asked by Ariel Helwani what he thought of MJF’s comments, Khan directed away from the question:

“This is one of those things that I don’t want to talk about. But I do think I agree with everything you lead off with. I think he’s one of the best wrestlers in the world. It’s amazing how much he’s accomplished already at such a young age. He’s a great talent.”

MJF’s promo, aired on AEW Dynamite’s 1 June broadcast, saw the three-time Dynamite Diamond Ring winner plead for Khan to fire him, calling his boss a “f*cking mark”. That marked MJF’s final televised appearance until he reemerged at All Out.

Now a member of The Firm, MJF defeated Wheeler YUTA on the 5 October Dynamite in his first official match back since losing to Wardlow at Double or Nothing.
