It has been a big few weeks for All Elite Wrestling and company President Tony Khan.
On the February 22nd episode of Dynamite Khan announced, via Adam Cole, the launch of the new reality TV series titled AEW All Access.
The new series will give a look behind the curtain at All Elite Wrestling and some of the company’s biggest stars including, Dr. Britt Baker, Sammy Guevara, Tay Melo, The Young Bucks, Saraya, Wardlow, Eddie Kingston, and Tony Khan himself.
It has since been confirmed that the show will premiere on March 29th, immediately after Dynamite.
As the AEW roster continues to grow, and independent stars make special appearances, fans have wondered whether more time could be added to either Dynamite or Rampage. Speaking at the post-Revolution media scrum, Khan has claimed that more AEW television is a real possibility.
“I would love to have more hours of wrestling television. It’s great that we have AEW All Access, which is huge for the company and a big opportunity to get that real estate following Dynamite, and I think we’ll have a good audience flow from Dynamite into All Access, it was a lot of positive feedback about that announcement. I know the network is very excited about how much engagement there was about All Access.
From a wrestling standpoint and trying to grow the roster and keep people hot when they get opportunities, it’s sometimes can be challenging for a couple of reasons. Three hours of television, injuries and things that have come up and changed circumstances,” said Khan.
“We absolutely have the capacity to do more and more TV if that opportunity presented itself and I think there is demand for it. I do think we definitely could, if called upon, we could definitely present more quality television with the roster we’re building.”
Tony Khan Claims MJF “Didn’t Act Like A Champion”
During the scrum, the AEW boss took issue with MJF’s conduct during his entrance at Revolution. On his way to the ring, the star took the opportunity to antagonise fans by grabbing a drink and tipping it over a child. Khan said that he had already had a “serious conversation” with MJF about the incident, adding that he hadn’t acted like a champion.
